Michigan Wedding Lighting

Lighting Design

Are you looking to leave an unforgettable impact on your guests? If you want that extra personalization, then some level of lighting design is the way to go. Besides Michigan DJs and Michigan photo booth rentals, we also specialize in dynamic uplighting. Statistics show that 80% of our clients go with lighting for their event. By “lighting design” we mean that your walls can match with over 1,000,000 colors. We also custom image projection, center piece pin spotting, and ceiling washes.

“Let’s paint a beautiful picture with lighting”

First we will decide on the colors to paint your room. The brighter the colors the greater the effect. We can match with any pallet of colors, all that we require is a color swatch. The most common solution we do for events is wall uplighting. This is accomplished by placing energy friendly LED lighting fixtures around the base of your walls. Since our lighting is computerized, it can match with your theme or slowly fade during the initial stages of the event. During the dancing portion of the evening, lighting changes to the beat of your music. This level of sophistication is something that guests are not familiar with.

The outcome is a breathtaking backdrop and tons of compliments

“More than just pipe and drape”

Fabric is a cost-effective way to transform the layout of any event space. This is used for stunning backdrops behind head tables. Pipe & drape is also useful when there are no other lighting alternatives. For example, if your hall has wooden or dark toned walls, then pipe and drape will give you a canvas to paint.

You’ve noticed that some halls have walls that need to be covered. Pipe & drape is your perfect solution for these scenarios. You can even create a separate rooms with fabric. This is great for doorways and lounge areas. When uplighting pipe and drape, we recommend light colored fabrics for maximum color saturation.

“Constellations on your ceiling are the ultimate effect”

One of the best ways to accent your event is by focusing lighting elements onto your ceiling. Besides doing a static color wash, you can give a night-time sky look with our constellation ceiling. We use specialized lighting fixtures with moving patterns and aim them onto your ceiling. This effect makes it look like the ceiling for your building is gone. This is great for forest, fall, and outdoor winter themes. Bring the outside inside with our starry ceiling. Your guests will be mesmerized by the results.

“Bring the outside inside, with event trees”

Event trees are an Encore original. Yes that’s right, you can have actual trees at your upcoming event. They are great for creating depth in your space when enhanced with lighting elements. No matter what the color, your event trees will add the right amount of personality and style. This is a completely modern way to bring the outside in. Also consider hanging crystal bead strand, giant pine-cones, mossy green, or tying colored ribbons to the branches. These are just a few examples of how event trees can leave a lasting impression on your guests. Click any of the (3) pictures above to enlarge the sample images.

“With image projection, your possibilities are endless”

A very popular way to personalize your event is with a custom designed image. These are sometimes referred to as name monograms, however they are also done for corporate logos and breakup patterns. Picture your very own design, company logo, or name created in wispy fonts. We have over 27 unique samples for you to choose from, or you can create your own.

We can either project your custom name monogram light fixture onto a wall or dance floor. How cool would it be to dance inside your name? Another trendy way to add texture to your space is with breakup patterns. These images can give a 3-D look by having your ceiling look like vaulted architecture or walls look like a forest treeline.

“An impressive way to light up your space”

Are you going for the Miami feel at your event? Color changing columns are a great way to leave a lasting impression on your guests. Our light pillars go over 9 feet vertical. Our team controls them digitally, which allows us to have them mimic the same colors of your event. They work wonders for grand entrances and perimeter lighting. You can even add a touch of style by arranging them on the four corners of your dance floor. Click any of the 3 photos above to enlarge the sample images.

“Make your centerpieces look larger than life”

What do you want guests to think when they sit down at their tables? Centerpieces can tie together your theme and pin-spotting your tables will make sure guests notice your effort. This is achieved by aiming powerful LED lighting on your centerpieces. Fixtures are easily hidden in the corner of your room and positioned to prevent the glare from getting into your guests eyes.

.

Some clients combine crystal bead strands with branches in elevated vases. Doing this will capture and reflect the lighting fixtures making your whole room shine like diamonds. To produce this dazzling effect, we recommend (1) pin spot per table. Trust me, guests will notice all the time you’ve dedicated to your centerpieces.

.

“Match your ceiling with your color of choice”

One of the most important factors with lighting design is keeping your room well balanced. A ceiling wash is the most over-looked element with lighting decor. This works best in facilities that have high ceilings and outdoor tented events. The higher the ceiling the more efficiently your colors will blend. A majority of clients use a secondary color for the ceiling to compliment the primary color (video example below aqua walls and pink ceiling). Since these fixtures are computer controlled, you ceiling will change color as the night unfolds. Another benefit of a ceiling wash, is that the fixture can doubled as a follow-spot for award ceremonies, grand entrances, and public speakers.
